Outreach Work with Young People – Report of Seminar 1988

Author: Veronica Wilson 1988

It is now recognised that many young people who may be in need of support do not meet with, or even know of those who could assist them. This may be because access is not available, or that services do not exist to meet their needs. Outreach - working with young people on their own territory and on their own terms - is one way of improving access and identifying needs on which to base future services.
