This paper attempts to highlight some of the main issues discussed at the Seminar "Community Education and the Education Reform Act 1988" and is presented as a working document. It is an attempt to move someway towards the Seminar's objectives:
(i) to provide information on important issues arising from the implementation of the Education Act and
(ii) to provide a checklist of items for further discussion at LEA level
